Hey guys it's Tina here, welcome back to my channel. Today I'll be showing you
how to use double eyelid tape. Now this is a really popular product in Asia used to
make your eyes look bigger or correct uneven eyelids or even great for hooded eyes
so if you want to open up your eyes and make them look bigger.
This is a great product use If you want to learn how to use double eyelid tape, keep watching and I'll show you how.
There are so many different double eyelid tape products
available on the market. The one I'm using today was purchased from Daiso
but you can also search for them on ebay. To begin I'm going to cleanse the area
with bioderma sensibio and I'm going to be using a cotton tip to clean
the area. It's important to remove any oil residues on the eyelid first and start
off with a clean area so that the tape can stick and stay for longer.
The first product I'll be using is the daiso single sided double eyelid tape, so this
means only one side of the tape is sticky. To work out where to place the tape
all you do is just look at where your natural eyelid is and place it on top of
that line. The high you place it on top of line, the bigger your I lid will look.
This matte double eyelid tape that's single sided is the best product to use if you're
planning to apply makeup over the tape. You can see that when the model looks
down the tape isn't that visible. The next product I'll be using is the double
sided double eyelid tape. You apply it pretty much the same way as the one
sided double eyelid tape. All you have to dois peel off the extra side of the tape
and you're going to need to use the plastic prong stick that it comes with and you need
to just poke it into your lid. I know it sounds scary but it doesn't hurt and
what it does is just ensure that both side of the tape
sticks to your skin. I would recommend using this type if you're not planning to wear eye
makeup on top because both sides are sticky and if you apply eye shadows on top
it's going to adhere to those areas and be patchy.
I actually use this tape when I wake up and my eyelids are uneven. I just apply
on one eye and I don't put any makeup on top.
The last product I'm going to show you is a very thin double sided double eyelid tape. All I do is get my model to close our eyes and place the
tape where I want her new eyelid to sit. I have to make sure I'm holding both
sides and adding a bit of pressure as my model opens her eyes. This is going to
make sure that both sides the tape is sticking to the skin. Once I'm happy
with the position of the tape, I just grabbed a pair of scissors and cut the
ends off. You have to be super careful when using scissors around your eyes so make
sure you have steady hands. I find that out of the three techniques I used today
this one is the least long-wearing, so if you're looking for something that's
gonna last all day, I suggest you use a thicker tape and may be the double-sided
tape, if you're not playing to wear makeup.
So that's pretty much it to this video if you want to learn how to put makeup over the
double eyelid tape, stay tuned for next week's video. Also if you haven't already, make sure
